Just Clicking and Clicking
It’s been more than a month since my last post. Apart from replying to comments and keeping a tab on my favorite blogs, I haven’t been doing anything worthwhile to bring out a new post. I was just slacking off.
But what I did do in the past one month was, I bought a new DSLR camera (Nikon D5100). As this is my first time using a DSLR, I’m super excited and clicking at all mad angles. Some of the photos have turned out to be decently good though.
It has been raining every evening here in Bangalore for the last one month, so I haven’t ventured outdoors much for photography, except for Begur Lake which is at a stone’s throw. But what I learned from my photography experience so far is, that you don’t need to go in search of beautiful things to click, it’s there right in front of you wherever you are – you only need to look.
This is only a stop-gap post. I will soon be coming back with my trademark humor in my next post, so stay tuned.

Nice photographs Joshi. I liked the last one. Well….welcome to the Photoblogger’s Club
Thanks man. I’m still trying to get to terms with the DSLR. Never owned a camera before. Hopefully I can take better photographs in the coming days.
A DSLR haan and the wifey did not crib?
1 2 & 7 are frame-worthy.
Cribbing? You would not believe what I have been going through after buying – ‘hell’ is a very light word to describe that. I will tell you all those in mail or in chat.
Kudos.. Photos are good for a Newbie

The lotus one? – you are the first one to like that. I’m glad.
Good buy. I really like the first and the last pic. “..you only need to look” – so right!
Jai Sriram. I have heard people complaining they don’t find anything beautiful to photograph.
These are beautiful pictures Joshi. I never knew you are that into photography.
The skyline is beautiful – and the bird so very serene! I love this gap post as you call it… hope to see you back with more frequent write-ups very soon.
I’m not ‘that’ into photography. But have developed some interest of late.
Beautiful pics! You’ve got a great eye.
Thanks Heather. Great to receive comments from writers like you.

Nice. Liked first and last one
Thanks Shrinidhi. I’m humbled by the support of writers like you.
Nice compositions, all of them! I guess, like many others here, I am also a bit biased towards the last the most… Just loved it… But the other shots are wonderful too… The skyline especially gives out a mystical look…
Great going…
Oh, Thank you very much. The last one is my favourite too.
